This auction is for my Canon Vertical Grip VG10 that I bought second hand prior to 2002. It will help you in taking vertical photos with a EOS 5 camera, which I have, lucky you, also for sale. 🙂 From that ad you can also read more about what I like in the EOS 5 cameras, which can even endure the waters of Cataratas Iguaçu, but not of forgetting them on a bus in South Americas. But in Japan they most likely would – the bus driver did run after me with my Nikon binoculars (or perhaps they like more Canon than Nikon in Japan?). 😉
I tested my EOS 5 camera in February 2016 with this vertical grip VG10 and two different lenses, and I found no problem with it. The only concern was with me, and that is the reason I’m selling it. Yes, I have also lenses that do not work with autofocus and in that case the pretty good autofocus of the body does not help me at all.
With great reluctance I am selling this very nice Canon Vertical Grip VG10 buy it now 50 euros, shipping only to be done fully insured, local pickup, testing and reasonable offers welcome.
I am no camera selling professional and am not officially qualified to judge the condition of this camera part. I have checked the functioning of it with my EOS 5 camera body and two lenses and I haven’t noted anything in malfunction. Cosmetically, it is as you see from the photos. I have marked it good condition, as stating “very good” would be, I believe, be too much, although in eBay there might be many to state that.
Remember if you buy outside EU and you are in EU, you need to pay customs tax (typically ca. 5 %) and VAT (typically around 20 – 25 %) which are added on top of shipping and insurance costs. To my understanding, these costs are calculated and due regardless of the age and condition of the item! There are calculators on-line for this, like from Pitney Bowes.
Yes, of course, I will combine shipping for reduced shipping costs. I urge you to my buy more from me and will be flexible with it. Please note the somewhat expensive shipping costs from Finland, especially if insurance is needed. If the value of order gets to a higher level, I insist on taken an insurance for the shipping.
